This design project draws inspiration from the psychological thriller film "Orphan" and explores the intersection of personal identity and the disquieting beauty found within Marlene Dumas' artistic style. Through a portrait inspired by my childhood passport photo, the artwork aims to evoke a sense of unease and introspection. Using free-flowing ink on cartridge paper, the painting captures the delicate balance between innocence and darkness, delving into the haunting narrative of the film.
